The Linux-Mandrake Corporate Server provides
complete, pre-configured Linux-based servers for your
business or enterprise in one easy-to-use package. The
Corporate Server includes all the tools and utilities to
make it a complete business solution.
Get started quickly and easily with:
- Graphical installation procedure "DrakX"
- "Wizdrake" for setting up the main server functions
including Web, Samba, DHCP, DNS, FTP, firewall, news,
email, and others.
Powerful and complete server solutions:
- Web server: Apache is pre-configured with PHP
(scripting language) and MySQL (database) for dynamic,
easy to maintain websites.
- Print server: Samba allows you to transparently
share resources on the Linux server with all networked
computers running a Microsoft operating system.
- Email server: Linux-Mandrake Corporate Server
1.0 provides Postfix (a more secure replacement for
Sendmail) and POP & IMAP servers for a reliable and robust
corporate messaging system. Also provided is the LDAP
contacts directory server.
- Firewall and router: Firewall assistant utility
Wizdrake and router services with GFCC for security and
Internet sharing.
- Services administration with Webmin: Administer
most services through a web browser with Webmin.

The minimal system configuration depends on the server's
intended use, for example: a high-traffic web server
requires significantly more RAM and a more powerful
processor than the suggested minimum configuration.
